USL Championship side Lexington Sporting Club and Hummel have officially unveiled a brand-new special "Blue Kit," once again paying tribute to local sporting heritage. Released following a crucial victory that secured the team a top-ten conference standing, the shirt draws direct inspiration from the iconic checkerboard aesthetic famously worn by the University of Kentucky basketball program.

The new Hummel Lexington SC jersey features a royal blue base highlighted by a bold blue-and-white checkered pattern across the right sleeve and right flank. The look is framed by a white-trimmed crewneck collar and matching sleeve cuffs, while the club's silver stallion crest and Hummel lettering sit centered on the chest above the UK HealthCare Sports Medicine sponsor.

This release builds on the massive success of the club's 2025 "Icicles Kit," which celebrated the Wildcats' famed 1994-95 uniform design. The new special kit is already available via Lexington SC's official online store.

USL Championship side Orange County SC have officially confirmed that they will part ways with Danish sportswear brand Hummel at the end of the 2026 season. The split concludes a three-year partnership that began in January 2024, during which Hummel supplied the California club with match kits, lifestyle merchandise, and training apparel.

The collaboration proved to be one of the most creatively acclaimed partnerships in North American lower-league soccer. Throughout the three-year run, Hummel and OCSC released several popular designs that broke club merchandise sales records, including the County Roads shirt, the Owners kit, and the After Dark away jersey. The final 2026 collection also introduced The 34 home kit, which featured subtle geometric lines honoring the 34 cities of Orange County.

Orange County SC expressed their gratitude to Hummel for their creative thinking and shared vision over the last three seasons. The club has announced that a new technical kit partner will be unveiled in January 2027 ahead of the 2027 campaign.

USL Championship side New Mexico United have once again joined forces with immersive art collective Meow Wolf to unveil their special 2026 Meow Wolf Night collection. Titled Bloom and Decay, the release continues an annual creative collaboration that started in 2019. The two bespoke jerseys completely abandon conventional template structures, instead turning the fabric into a canvas for dense, street-art-inspired storytelling.

Designed by Meow Wolf artist Nathan Sparks, the collection contrasts the cycles of life and mortality through intricate, non-repeating illustrations loaded with hidden Easter eggs. The outfield Decay shirt features a black base detailed with the club's signature yellow, grey, and white, showcasing urban grubbiness, skulls, and surreal creatures. The goalkeeper Bloom jersey serves as its vivid counterpart, utilizing a fluorescent pink base loaded with blooming desert cacti, vibrant flora, and animated pollinators. Subverting standard kit aesthetics even further, traditional kit manufacturer branding is replaced on the right chest by Meow Wolf's mischievous rat character, Plotzo.

Both shirts were worn on the pitch during New Mexico United's annual Meow Wolf Night fixture against Sacramento Republic FC. Following an exclusive secret-location pop-up release in Albuquerque's Nob Hill, the limited-edition shirts were made available to the public for $75 across both the club's official shop and the Meow Wolf online store.

USL Championship side Birmingham Legion FC has unveiled its new 'Forged for Battle' away kit for the 2026-27 season. Made by Hummel, the new away shirt pays tribute to the USS Alabama battleship, honoring a historic symbol of the club's home state and its rich heritage. The kit makes its on-pitch debut on July 2 at Protective Stadium.

The Hummel Birmingham Legion 2026-27 away shirt features a distinctive naval theme, highlighted by a subtle semaphore call sign pattern integrated into the fabric. A traditional naval uniform-style collar completes the maritime aesthetic, while gold trim on the sleeves and collar references the ship's anchor wheels. An outline of the USS Alabama is also placed on the hip as a final tribute to the legendary battleship.

USL Championship club New Mexico United has unveiled their new 2026 Bottle Rocket kit, produced by Puma. Released as a limited edition of just 505 pieces, the design is inspired by summer nights and pickup games, capturing the excitement of the 2026 soccer season.

The team will debut the special-edition strip on the pitch during their July 4 match against Oakland Roots SC.

USL Championship club Tampa Bay Rowdies have launched a special-edition "Stars and Hoops" kit by Charly to support the USMNT at the 2026 World Cup and celebrate the 250th anniversary of United States independence

The predominantly white jersey features the club's classic hooped sleeves reimagined in patriotic red, white, and blue, complemented by three white stars on each shoulder. Additional details include a blue collar with thin white and red trim, red sleeve cuffs with white and blue trim, and blue accents on the sides and shoulders.

The traditional Rowdies wordmark logo appears in blue across the chest. The kit is available in limited quantities.

New Mexico United have revealed their third kit for the 2026 season. Known as the Vintage Kit and manufactured by Puma, the shirt features a bright turquoise base, a bold foldover collar and a black chest band with the Visit Taos sponsor.

The kit debuted on the pitch during the May 23 home match against Charleston Battery and is now available in unisex, women's and youth sizes through the official team store and website.
